Suntrader is an accredited installer for both the national and selected local schemes.

National Grants
The Low Carbon Buildings Program
In June 2006 the DTI launched the Low Carbon Buildings Programme with £6.5 million allocated to support the installation of renewable technologies on domestic properties. Further grants are also available for microgeneration technologies for businesses, schools, community organisations and the public sector. The scheme will run for three years.
For Solar Thermal Hot Water Systems a grant of £400 is available per installation. |
Local Grants
These can be applied for in addition to the national grants.
Solar For London
Grant and discount scheme offering Londoners solar hot water systems at discount prices. Grants range from £500 - £1000. We are a registered installer for this scheme. Tel: 0207 820 3156
Lewes Renewables
Offers grants for Lewes district residents for a range of systems including £600 towards each domestic solar thermal water heating system.
Brighton and Hove Energy Action Partnership Solar Hot Water Grants
Scheme offering £1,000 grants to all householders in Brighton & Hove and 100% grants for householders who are over 60 and receiving one of the following benefits: Income Support, Income based job seekers allowance, Council Tax Benefit and Pension Credit Guarantee Credit.
